Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Estimate Preparation:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP projects , including conceptual, schematic, design-development, and hard-bid construction documents.Quantity Takeoff:
Perform accurate and timely material and labor quantity takeoffs from drawings and specifications using software such as Bluebeam, Planswift, Accubid, or equivalent.Pricing & Analysis:
Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and supplier quotations. Develop detailed internal pricing for self-perform work (labor, material, equipment).Bid Assembly:
Compile all estimate components into a final, professional bid package. Prepare detailed basis-of-estimate and qualifications documents.Vendor & Subcontractor Relations:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable participation.Value Engineering:
Actively participate in value engineering sessions, offering cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality or design intent.Collaboration:
Work closely with the operations, project management, and design teams to ensure estimates are realistic, constructible, and align with project goals.Post-Bid:
Participate in bid reviews, client interviews, and handover meetings to successfully transition awarded projects to the operations team.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
