We are currently seeking a

Mid-Level Estimator

to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and bid proposals for

aluminum and facade systems

. You will play a key role in supporting our sales and project management teams by providing accurate and timely pricing based on drawings, specifications, and supplier quotations.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates. Quantify materials and labor required for curtain walls, windows, doors, cladding systems, and other facade elements. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain up-to-date pricing and technical data. Prepare and submit RFIs to clarify project requirements. Prepare bid proposals and present them to the management and sales teams. Work with project managers to support hand-off after project award. Maintain and update historical cost data, estimating tools, and databases. Assist in value engineering and cost optimization efforts. Ensure all estimates comply with project and industry standards.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience as an Estimator in the aluminum, glazing, or facade industry. Strong knowledge of curtain wall systems, aluminum glazing, cladding, or similar building envelope products. Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings. Familiar with industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel). Excellent numerical and analytical skills. Strong communication and organizational abilities. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Experience with project takeoffs and cost planning in commercial or high-rise construction. Familiarity with local building codes and facade performance requirements.
