About the Role:

SME Electromechanical is looking for a seasoned

MEP Manager

to oversee the complete Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing lifecycle for our mid to high-rise building projects. You will be responsible for leading the technical teams, ensuring multi-disciplinary coordination, and managing the project from the design review stage through to final authority handover.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

Lead and manage the Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing departments to ensure seamless integration of all MEP services.

Authority Liaison:

Take full ownership of all authority approvals and inspections, including

DEWA, Dubai Municipality (DM), and Civil Defence (DCD)

.

Project Planning:

Develop and monitor MEP schedules, identifying critical path activities and ensuring resources are optimized to meet project deadlines.

Coordination & Clashes:

Review BIM/Navisworks and 2D coordination drawings to proactively resolve clashes before site execution.

Financial Oversight:

Manage MEP budgets, oversee the procurement of major equipment (Long-lead items), and verify sub-contractor variations and progress claims.

Quality & Safety:

Ensure all installations meet international engineering standards and strict company HSE policies.

Mandatory Requirements:

UAE Experience:

Minimum

10 years

of solid experience in the UAE MEP sector.

Project Expertise:

Proven track record of managing

Mid to High-Rise residential or commercial buildings

(Full MEP Scope).

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Skills:

Expert knowledge of UAE local authority regulations, value engineering, and project management software.

Joining:

Immediate joiners

(Cancelled visa or short notice period) will be prioritized.
