Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled

MEP Manager

to oversee and coordinate all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that MEP systems are designed, installed, tested, and maintained in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all MEP activities during the design, procurement, and construction phases. Review MEP design documents and ensure alignment with project goals, budget, and local codes. Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of MEP components. Develop and monitor schedules for MEP installations, inspections, and commissioning. Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Conduct regular site inspections and provide technical guidance and support. Identify and resolve technical issues, conflicts, or delays in coordination with other trades. Monitor contractor performance and manage change orders related to MEP work. Lead the testing and commissioning process of MEP systems to ensure functionality and performance. Prepare reports and documentation related to MEP progress, quality, and issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in MEP management within the construction industry. In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Strong understanding of construction methods, project scheduling, and coordination processes. Proficient in software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and BIM applications. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. PMP, LEED, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with large-scale commercial or mixed-use developments. Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient MEP solutions. Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
