We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified MEP Manager to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities to ensure projects are delivered in compliance with approved designs, schedules, budgets, and UAE regulations.
Job Summary:
The MEP Manager will oversee all MEP works from design coordination through construction and commissioning, ensuring integration with other disciplines and adherence to quality, safety, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all MEP activities across project sites.
Ensure MEP works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Review and approve MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Monitor MEP progress, productivity, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with UAE codes, standards, and HSE requirements.
Resolve technical and coordination issues between MEP and other trades.
Prepare progress reports and attend coordination meetings.
Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of total MEP experience.
At least 4 years of experience in the UAE working as a MEP Manager.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction practices, and UAE regulations.
Proven leadership and coordination skills.
Experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and stakeholders.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
PMP or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
Having previous experience working in Abu Dhabi especially for governmental projects.
Valid UAE driving license is required.
