Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced and skilled

MEP Foremen

specializing in

Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Piping

disciplines to supervise site activities for a high-value

Data Centre project

in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidates will be responsible for coordinating and managing site teams, ensuring high-quality workmanship, adherence to project specifications, and maintaining safety and schedule targets.

Key Responsibilities:General Duties (All Disciplines):

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the assigned trade workforce (technicians and subcontractors). Ensure that all installations and works are carried out according to approved drawings, project specifications, and method statements. Plan daily work schedules, allocate manpower, materials, and equipment efficiently. Inspect ongoing and completed works for compliance with quality and safety standards. Report progress, delays, material shortages, and manpower requirements to the Site Engineer or Construction Manager. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures at all times. Coordinate with other discipline foremen to ensure smooth workflow and proper sequencing of activities. Support testing and commissioning teams during pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.

Discipline-Specific Responsibilities:Electrical Foreman:

Supervise installation of electrical containment systems, cabling, lighting, small power, earthing, and lightning protection. Oversee installation of MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, UPS systems, and critical power distribution for data centre systems. Ensure correct cable terminations, megger testing, and insulation resistance checks. Coordinate with ELV, fire alarm, and BMS teams for integration works.

Plumbing Foreman:

Supervise installation of domestic water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems. Ensure proper pressure testing, leak testing, and alignment of pipelines. Coordinate with civil teams for sleeve and core cutting locations. Oversee installation of pumps, valves, and plumbing fixtures.

HVAC Foreman:

Supervise installation of ductwork, chilled water piping, and related HVAC components. Ensure alignment and leveling of ducts, fittings, and equipment. Oversee insulation, duct sealing, and air balancing preparations. Coordinate with equipment suppliers for installation of AHUs, FCUs, and CRAC/CRAH units.

Piping Foreman:

Supervise installation of chilled water, condenser water, and process piping systems. Monitor welding, grooving, threading, and pressure testing activities. Verify pipe supports, alignment, and insulation works. Ensure compliance with ASME/ASHRAE and project-specific standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Diploma or ITI Certificate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or relevant trade.

Minimum 7-10 years of experience

in MEP construction, with

at least 3 years in a supervisory/foreman role

on data centres, industrial, or mission-critical projects. Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems, installation methods, and testing procedures. Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and coordination layouts. Familiar with international standards and local authority regulations (ADCD, ADDC, ADM). Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multicultural workforces. Good communication and reporting skills in English.
