:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

MEP Estimator

with a mechanical background to join our growing construction and fit-out company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and at least

2 years of experience

in cost estimation for interior fit-out and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project drawings, specifications, and scope of work to prepare accurate cost estimates for MEP works. Analyze project requirements and identify materials, labor, and time needed. Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost breakdowns for tenders and ongoing projects. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations and pricing. Evaluate and compare quotations to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting. Update and maintain a database of material prices, labor costs, and suppliers. Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies. Participate in pre- and post-tender meetings as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum

2 years of experience

as an MEP Estimator in the

fit-out or construction

industry. Strong knowledge of MEP systems and materials. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with estimation software (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar). Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
