We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

MEP Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

with a

mechanical background

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must have at least

2 years of relevant experience in the UAE

, with a solid understanding of

MEP works

. Experience in

fit-out projects

will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

accurate cost estimates

for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) components of projects, with a primary focus on

mechanical systems

(HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing). Perform

quantity take-offs

, cost analysis, and prepare

BOQ (Bill of Quantities)

from drawings, specifications, and other tender documents. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather and verify pricing and materials information. Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing. Prepare and submit

tender documents

and ensure compliance with client requirements. Assist in

cost control

,

variation analysis

, and

budget monitoring

throughout project execution. Track and evaluate

project costs vs. budgeted costs

and provide reports to management. Support in

value engineering

and cost-saving opportunities. Prepare

interim and final payment applications

and liaise with clients and consultants for approvals.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

or related field. Minimum

2 years of UAE experience

in MEP estimation and quantity surveying. Strong knowledge of

MEP systems

, particularly

mechanical

(HVAC, plumbing, firefighting). Proficiency in

AutoCAD

,

MS Excel

, and estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, Planswift, or similar). Experience in

interior fit-out

or commercial/residential projects is a

plus

. Strong analytical, organizational, and negotiation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with UAE construction codes and standards. Knowledge of

local suppliers, market rates

, and

subcontractor ecosystem

. PMP or relevant certification is an advantage.
