Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

MEP Draughtsman

to join our growing interior fit-out team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and coordinated MEP drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) for high-end interior fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, local authority regulations, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed

MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings

, and

as-built drawings

for interior fit-out projects. Interpret

design layouts, architectural drawings

, and

project specifications

to create accurate MEP drawings. Coordinate MEP services with architectural and ID layouts, ensuring clash-free integration. Work closely with

MEP engineers

,

site teams

, and

consultants

to incorporate required changes and updates in drawings. Ensure that all MEP drawings meet

local authority requirements

(DEWA, DM, DCD, etc.). Maintain and update drawing logs, revision records, and document control in line with project requirements. Conduct site visits for as-built drawing preparation and support installation teams with detailed drawings when required. Support the project team in

material take-offs

and basic quantity estimations based on drawings. Ensure all work complies with

UAE regulations

and standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years UAE experience

in a similar role within an

interior fit-out company

. Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

; knowledge of

Dialux

is an advantage. Good understanding of

MEP systems

in fit-out works including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and electrical layouts. Familiar with

UAE local authority regulations

(DEWA, DM, DCD, etc.). Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
