Landscape MEP Draughtsman (Commercial Projects)

Secret Gardens LLC requires an MEP Draughtsman with COMMERCIAL LANDSCAPING & SWIMMING POOLS experience for our high-end design-oriented landscaping & pool company to work alongside our experienced team of architects, engineers & construction professionals. Key responsibilities:

Assist MEP Engineer in conducting necessary calculations and equipment selection for swimming pools and water features.

Assisting the QS and Estimation team by developing drawings and accurate CAD assessment.

Managing project documentation.

Collaborating with project managers for site coordination and participating in meetings as required.

Interacting with Main Contractors/consultants on technical matters as instructed by the Operations Manager/Project Manager.

Providing guidance to plumbers and electricians during on-site execution.

Coordinating and managing maintenance activities related to MEP systems in collaboration with the operations team.

Assisting and collaborating with the site survey team for MEP system surveys.

Reviewing and Seeking clarity for understanding from engineers and project managers whenever misalignment on drawings, design and actual site conditions are realized.

Organising and uploading drawings to web-based storage sites/collaboration project sites to share drawings with project and subcontractors.

Create, edit, enhance and update standard details for use in projects

Advanced planning in collaboration with project managers

Prepare documents and approval requests for relevant authorities together with the site engineer.

Design diagrams, maps and layouts to illustrate workflow

Validate design issues relating to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.

Assist in the receipt and review of MEP Submittals.

Liase with architects and engineers to gather product and structural requirements and designs.

Calculate dimensions, weight limitations and requirements in materials.

Create detailed designs with computer-aided sign (CAD) software.

Identify potential operational issues and re design products to improve functionality.

Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards

Create manuals the describe existing products' operation, features and maintenance.

Prepares weekly report on Drafting Team schedule and making sure of timely progress.

Skills

At least 3 years' experience in a Landscape and Swimming Pool Construction environment. Knowledgeable in Revit and/or BIM is an advantage A hands-on approach with a 'can-do' spirit Ensuring commitments are achieved Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time and energy The ability to manage and drive a highly dynamic operation Ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership for all duties and tasks assigned Proactive and can-do approach with ability to drive campaigns using minimal guidance and own initiative

Ability to commute/relocate:

Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

MEP Drafting in landscaping and swimming pools: 2 years (Required) Commercial landscape experience is an advantage.
