The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software. You will coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure that all drawings are compliant with design specifications, construction standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed MEP shop drawings (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting) based on design inputs and engineering standards.
Develop coordination drawings that integrate all MEP services to avoid clashes.
Update and revise drawings based on site changes, engineer inputs, and RFIs (Request for Information).
Ensure all drawings meet local codes, industry standards, and project requirements.
Maintain drawing files, documentation, and backups in an organized manner.
Coordinate with MEP engineers and site teams to resolve drawing or design issues.
Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings after completion of the project.
Participate in design coordination meetings when required.
Review architectural and structural drawings to align MEP drawings accordingly.
Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings when needed.
