Job Description

Drafting and Design: Produce precise MEP drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and details, using CAD/BIM software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Assist in generating material take-offs and quantities for MEP systems based on project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with MEP engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and coordination issues. Ensure that MEP drawings reflect the design intent and specifications provided by engineers and consultants. Attend coordination meetings to discuss MEP requirements and ensure alignment with villa design and construction schedules. Communicate effectively with project team members to clarify design intent and address any discrepancies or changes. Support in preparing documentation required for permit approvals and inspections by local authorities in the UAE. Stay updated on relevant codes, regulations, and standards related to MEP systems in the UAE and incorporate them into drawings as necessary. Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings documenting actual MEP installations and deviations from original designs upon project completion. Contribute to the compilation of operation and maintenance manuals for MEP systems to facilitate handover to villa owners or facility management teams.
Qualifications :

Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering, Drafting, or a related field. 2-3 years' experience in MEP drafting Good knowledge in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD/BIM software for MEP drafting. Strong understanding of UAE building codes, regulations, and standards pertaining to MEP systems. Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate drawings (GFC, Shop drawings) within specified deadlines. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Familiarity with local suppliers, materials, and construction practices in the UAE is advantageous. (Dubai Municipality, DEWA, DCD)
