Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

The MEP Draughtsman is responsible for preparing

accurate MEP drawings

for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems based on design inputs, specifications, and standards. The role supports the design team in developing

concept, detailed, and construction drawings

while ensuring coordination with other disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare

MEP drawings

(HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, ELV) as per design requirements Develop

concept, schematic, detailed, and tender drawings

Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines Update drawings based on design revisions and comments Assist in clash coordination and design coordination reviews Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards and authority requirements Maintain proper drawing documentation and revision control Support the design team during authority submissions and approvals

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or certificate in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or Drafting Minimum

2-5 years of experience

as an MEP Draughtsman in a design environment Experience in consultancy or design office preferred

Technical Skills

Proficiency in

AutoCAD

(Revit MEP is an advantage) Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems
