Develop and design MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting) systems in compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Prepare and review detailed design drawings, schematics, and layouts for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
Coordinate MEP designs with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to avoid clashes.
Conduct load calculations, equipment sizing, and material selection as per project requirements.
Provide technical support during tendering, procurement, and construction stages.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and ensure compliance with approved design.
Prepare as-built drawings and documentation upon project completion.
Stay updated with local authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, DDA, Emaar, DEWA, etc.) and ensure all designs meet approval requirements.
Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients to resolve design-related queries.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
Proven experience as an MEP Designer in construction or consultancy projects.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, local authority codes, and international standards.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant design/drafting software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and coordination skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
