MEP Designer - Plumbing & Fire Life Safety (FLS)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented MEP Designer specializing in Plumbing and Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of UAE standards, mall-specific guidelines, and international codes such as NFPA.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop MEP layouts for plumbing and fire protection systems in compliance with UAE and international regulations

Prepare design drawings, coordination layouts, and detail sections using AutoCAD or Revit

Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines for clash-free integration

Review and implement client and authority comments

Assist in preparation of material submittals and design reports

Stay up-to-date with NFPA codes, UAE Civil Defense requirements, and mall fit-out guidelines

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech / B.E)

Minimum 1 year of experience in MEP design with focus on Plumbing and Fire Fighting/FLS systems

Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, UAE Civil Defense codes, and mall regulations

Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus)

Good communication and coordination skills

Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills :

Experience with authority submissions (Dubai Civil Defense, DM etc.)

Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED is a plus

Pay: From AED4,500.00 per month
