Job Description

Position: MEP Designer / Draftsman


Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE


Project Type: 5+G Building


Experience: Minimum 3 years in Abu Dhabi



We are seeking a

qualified and experienced MEP Designer/Draftsman

to join our team for an upcoming

5+G building project

in

Abu Dhabi

. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in

Electrical, HVAC, Firefighting, Fire Alarm, Drainage, Etisalat/du, and Water systems

, and must be well-versed in the

local authority regulations and submission requirements

.

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare detailed MEP design and shop drawings for

Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and ELV systems

. Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authorities such as

ADDC, ADM, Estidama, Civil Defense, Etisalat/du, and ADSSC

. Develop

coordination drawings

and conduct

clash detection

with architectural and structural teams. Generate accurate

as-built drawings

, update mark-ups, and maintain drawing logs. Work independently under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines. Familiarity with

BIM processes and software

(preferably Revit) is a strong advantage.

Requirements:



Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

in Abu Dhabi working on building construction projects. Strong knowledge of

MEP systems

design and drafting. Excellent proficiency in

AutoCAD

; BIM/Revit is highly preferred. Familiarity with

local codes and authority regulations

. Ability to work in a

fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

. Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred:



Experience on

mid- to high-rise buildings

in the UAE. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple design tasks simultaneously.
