Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MEP Designer / Draftsman to join our interior fit-out team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing and drafting MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems for high-end residential projects. You will collaborate with the design and technical teams to ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems within the overall project scope.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and produce detailed MEP designs and technical drawings using AutoCAD and other relevant software. Review architectural plans to ensure MEP systems are integrated smoothly into the design. Create accurate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing layouts and drawings according to project requirements. Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and contractors to ensure MEP designs meet project specifications and timelines. Conduct site visits to assess project progress and resolve MEP-related issues. Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and standards for MEP installations in residential projects. Provide support to the project team during the construction phase, resolving design-related issues that may arise. Prepare material specifications and ensure all materials used are as per project standards and requirements. Assist in cost estimation and material quantity take-offs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field. 4-7 years of MEP design and drafting experience, particularly in residential projects in the UAE. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and other relevant design software. Strong knowledge of UAE building codes and standards. Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team. Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

Experience with sustainable design practices and green building standards. Familiarity with site project coordination and execution.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
