Job Summary

The MEP & Civil Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating all maintenance activities related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and civil works within the company's facilities/projects. The role ensures that all maintenance tasks are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards, schedules, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Coordination

Lead and supervise a team of technicians for MEP and civil maintenance works.

Plan, assign, and monitor daily maintenance tasks.

Ensure timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers when required.

Technical Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance and repair of HVAC, electrical panels, plumbing, pumps, fire alarm/firefighting systems, and other MEP equipment.

Supervise civil maintenance works including masonry, painting, carpentry, and minor structural repairs.

Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and recommend improvements.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inspections.

Prepare reports on equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance costs.

Assist in budget preparation for maintenance works and materials.

Team Development

Provide guidance and technical support to the maintenance team.

Train technicians on safety procedures and technical skills.

Ensure discipline, punctuality, and productivity within the team.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Minimum [5 years] of experience in MEP and civil maintenance, with at least [3 years] in a supervisory role.

Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting).

Good understanding of civil maintenance works.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Strong knowledge of safety procedures and local regulations.

Work Conditions

Site and office-based work with frequent inspections.

May require overtime or emergency call-outs.

UAE driving license is a plus
