Responsibilities

JOB SCOPE:

The Geozone (GZ) QHSE Manager is responsible for the implementation of OEPS across facilities product lines, manufacturing, engineering, and product development groups within the geographical area. The GZ QHSE Manager is the senior-most QHSE figure within the area, with all other Weatherford QHSE personnel reporting up through this person, either directly or functionally.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ This position is accountable for the following activities: Representing Weatherford as the common face of QHSE within the geographical area.

+ Leading and managing QHSE staff within the geographic area and providing QHSE oversight for all geographical-based product lines.

+ Ensuring OEPS QHSE standards are communicated and implemented across the geographic area, and any potential improvements or other required changes are communicated to the Corporate QHSE team.

+ Ensuring appropriate QHSE expertise is available and training and competence programs are implemented and progressing according to timelines agreed with the Corporate QHSE team.

+ Communicating Corporate improvement objectives and targets along with any necessary local objectives and targets, ensuring they are understood, developing plans for their implementation and tracking progress.

+ Developing local QHSE procedures and/or management plans as necessary to fulfil regulatory or client requirements that are fully aligned with OEPS standards.

+ Ensuring QHSE regulatory requirements are identified, managed and used to support facilities, business units and the legal, compliance and risk departments as required Consolidating, evaluating, processing and communication of QHSE statistical information from Weatherford entities within the geographical area.

+ Leading PC1 Investigations Driving the performance of facility QHSE risk assessments and facility profiles, making sure they are up to date and available to staff.

+ Ensuring necessary QHSE data requirements are compiled and recorded according to Corporate QHSE requirements.

+ Developing, and ensuring compliance to and implementation of facility and country level emergency response, crisis management plans and business continuity plans and that such plans remain current Supporting product lines in the development of and compliance with service quality plans Developing QHSE audits plans for OEPS and regulatory compliance evaluations, and participating in such audits.

+ Supporting other Business Support Services in QHSE requirements including but not limited to: Ensuring QHSE support is provided during supplier selection and re-evaluation via necessary audits in a timely manner.

+ Guaranteeing QHSE support is provided for tenders, contract reviews and customer audits.

+ Supporting Real estate with environmental due diligence requirements.

+ Supporting certification requirements for selected facilities by ensuring relevant certification is identified requirements are implemented.

+ Ensuring QHSE documentation is maintained according to Corporate QHSE department requirements and specified retention protocols are adhered to.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Knowledge:

+ Strong technical knowledge in Q, H S or E and a good understanding of the other disciplines

+ Extensive relationship history with large organizations / clients

+ Comprehensive experience in Incident management / failure analysis

+ Ability to interpret reliability and statistical data

+ Experienced in & enterprise wide management systems Knowledge of QHSE regulatory requirements for the relevant country/countries

+ Able to make presentations to multi-disciplined groups (including internal and external personnel), run effective workshops and produce reports / documentation

+ Able & to work across multi-functional job roles or in isolation

+ Excellent teamwork and influencing skills.

+ Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills.

+ Good organizational skills.

+ Able to communicate with both frontline workforce and senior leadership

+ Proficient at demonstrating visible leadership in the field and workshop and to a QHSE team International experience Professional Quality, Safety and/or Environmental Qualification from a recognized body or ability to demonstrate competency via another route

+ Proficient in Contract / Tender reviews Proficient knowledge in Microsoft basic suite of programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

+ Experienced in performing audits

+ Experienced working in matrix organizations

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

+ Oilfield services technical experience Document management and control experience

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelors Degree

+ A minimum of ten years QHSE related experience with 5 years in a management or senior advisory role

+ Professionally recognized HSE certification

+ Externally Qualified Investigator through formal education and training

Special Requirements:

+ Ability to travel 50% (dependent on business needs)

+ Able to travel to remote locations

+ Able to conduct onshore and offshore (if applicable) site visits
