Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining the maintenance work flow in an efficient manner while playing a key role in planning and completing a range of planned maintenance work & to actively participate in the setup of new projects.
Set the specifications and check the design of mechanical hydraulic products and systems.
Supervises and execute the plant maintenance program with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.
Researches and analyzes data, such as design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
Prepares reports, analyzes data and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance related problems.
Performs other tasks and duties as allocated by a department Manager or superior.
Ensures and adheres to safe work practices and procedures including, but not limited to, lockout/tag out and confined space rules and regulations.
Reviews the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime.
Reads, understands and able to explain various engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, diagrams.
Tracks, analyzes and improves key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc.
Maintains QMS ISO, safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures and reviews safety records to uphold standards of maximum safety for all maintenance technicians.

HSE Roles and Responsibilities:

comply with reasonable OSH instructions and safe working procedures;
use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems;
be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures;
not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone's health and safety;
assist with the preparation of risk assessments; and report OSH hazards, incidents, and issues

Experience and Education:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
3-6 years of industrial experience.

Technical Competencies:

Knowledge of conventional machines and SPMs.
In-depth knowledge and experience with repairs and maintenance of processing equipment.
To perform multiple technical commercial tasks in order to meet changing job conditions.
Good computer skills.
Setting priorities and meeting deadlines
