Job Description

We are looking for a

Mechanical Engineer

to join our team in

Ras Al Khaimah

, working as a

consultant representative on-site

to oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the

consultant representative

at the site, ensuring quality and compliance in all mechanical works. Supervise and inspect construction activities related to

mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

. Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements. Coordinate with contractors, site teams, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues promptly. Monitor progress to ensure alignment with project schedules and specifications. Conduct site inspections, prepare daily/weekly reports, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Collaborate with the design team to provide technical input and support for design development and improvements. Ensure all works comply with

Ras Al Khaimah authority regulations

and preferably

RAKEZ standards

. Attend site meetings, provide updates, and maintain clear communication with all project parties.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

3 - 6 years of relevant experience

in site supervision and design, preferably within

consultancy firms

. Strong knowledge of

mechanical systems

, including plumbing and HVAC. Previous work experience in

Ras Al Khaimah

is

mandatory

. Knowledge of

RAKEZ regulations and standards

is highly preferred. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
