Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

Plastic Manufacturing Machine Mechanic

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machines used in the plastic manufacturing process. You will ensure that the production machinery runs smoothly and efficiently to meet the required production targets. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, and the ability to quickly address machine issues to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Repair:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plastic manufacturing machines, including injection molding machines, extrusion machines, and other plastic processing equipment.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly to minimize downtime in production.

Machine Setup & Calibration:

Assist in setting up and calibrating machinery for production runs, ensuring the machines are operating to optimal specifications.

Parts Replacement:

Replace worn or damaged parts such as motors, gears, bearings, pumps, and other components as needed.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports for all machinery, including service histories and parts replacements.

Collaboration:

Work closely with production teams to ensure machines are running efficiently and safely.

Safety Compliance:

Ensure all machine maintenance procedures comply with safety regulations and company safety standards.

Continuous Improvement:

Suggest improvements to improve machine reliability, efficiency, and safety.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a

Machine Mechanic

,

Mechanical Technician

, or similar role in a plastic manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of

plastic manufacturing processes

, such as injection molding, extrusion, and blow molding. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, technical drawings, and schematics. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to ensure a safe working environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Certificate in Mechanical Engineering

or related field (preferred).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy equipment and parts (up to [specify weight]). Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on the nature of the facility.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a

factory environment

with exposure to various manufacturing machinery. Regular shifts may include evening and weekend work based on production needs.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
