Urgently hiring for Material Engineer in interior fit-out

, if you're diving into a niche that blends technical precision with design flair. This role typically involves in the UAE experience and UAE Interior Fit out Projects experience.

Key Responsibilities

Material Selection

: Evaluate and recommend materials like wood, gypsum, stone, glass, and metal based on durability, aesthetics, fire resistance, and sustainability.

Submittals & Approvals

: Prepare Material Submittals (MS), Material Approval Requests (MAR), and samples for consultant/client review.

Supplier Coordination

: Work closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications.

Quality Control

: Inspect materials upon arrival and ensure they meet project standards.

Technical Support

: Advise site teams on installation methods and material handling.

Compliance

: Ensure materials meet UAE building codes, fire safety standards, and sustainability benchmarks like LEED or Estidama.
Qualifications & Skills

Education

: Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Materials Science.

Experience

: 4-8 years in interior fit-out projects, preferably in residential , hospitality, Retail and corporate sectors.

Software

: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and documentation tools.

Knowledge Areas

: Fire-rated materials, acoustic/thermal performance, sustainability certifications.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
