. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of construction materials, local standards, and project requirements within the UAE. This role requires a results-driven professional with technical expertise and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate and approve materials based on project specifications and regulatory standards
Conduct material testing and analysis to ensure compliance and quality
Liaise with suppliers and vendors for sourcing and approval of construction materials
Prepare and maintain materials submittals, reports, and documentation
Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure material compatibility and timely delivery
Stay updated on new materials, technologies, and industry standards in the UAE
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
Minimum
5 years' experience
as a Material Engineer in the
UAE construction sector
Strong knowledge of
construction materials
and
UAE standards and regulations
Familiarity with testing methods, certifications, and documentation procedures
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
