. This role requires leadership, innovation, and coordination skills to support ongoing and upcoming projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all technical aspects of construction projects from planning through execution.
Coordinate with consultants, architects, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure compliance with design, codes, and quality standards.
Prepare and review technical submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and material approvals.
Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during construction.
Resolve any technical issues that arise on-site in a timely and effective manner.
Ensure adherence to local authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, ADM, DDA, etc.).
Support the tendering process with technical evaluations and documentation.
Liaise with project management to monitor progress and suggest technical solutions when required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum
8+ years of experience
in the
construction industry
, with at least
5 years in the UAE
.
Strong knowledge of
UAE construction codes, authority approvals, and local market practices
.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering software.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
