Key Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery timelines
Manage procurement schedules to meet project timelines
Negotiate contracts and maintain strong vendor relationships
Ensure compliance with UAE legal and regulatory requirements in procurement
Coordinate with project managers and site engineers to identify procurement needs
Maintain accurate records and manage procurement documentation
Utilize procurement software and ERP systems for order tracking and reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Minimum
5 years' UAE-based procurement experience
in the
construction sector
In-depth knowledge of
local supplier networks
and
construction materials
Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, etc.)
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
