Your Role:
The MAP Operations MEAR team works to translate global market access and pricing (MAP) strategies into regional execution, supports the development of country-level operational market access plans, and drives the implementation of regional healthcare strategy with the purpose of having a direct impact to patients and society.

  • Provides MAP input into Regional Brand Strategies and Brand Planning
  • Generates and validates pricing insights scenarios
  • Minimize price erosion and improve profitability by assessing the locally submitted Price Change Requests (PCR\xe2\x80\x99s) business cases, approving and/or escalating them.
  • Develops MAP strategies for relevant markets with implementation plans for the region and KPIs
  • Contextualization of global value material to country/payer specific context.
  • Training of relevant country staff with value story and objection handlers to support execution of access strategies.
  • Country level and regional price forecast inputs into operating plans (OP) / strategic development (SD)
  • Support gap assessments for local capabilities, collaborate with business partners to develop appropriate trainings to strengthen the capability level in the region
  • Direct involvement with payer negotiations as needed supporting the negotiation strategy and tactical implementation.
  • Develop equitable/optimized access strategies.
  • Continuous monitoring of Access KPIs and strategic opportunities to improve patient access.
Who you are: EDUCATION & LANGUAGES
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree required, advanced degree (preferred) in a scientific discipline and/or in business with relevant previous experience in the health care industry
  • MBA and/or MSc in Health Economics will be an asset
  • English. (Arabic or French preferrable but not a must.)

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in market access and pricing roles in country specific functions and (preferably) in regional roles
  • Leadership & management skills: able to develop and execute executive engagement strategy for the members Leadership Teams, Regional Head of GMAP Operations, and local team of MAP
  • Previous working experience in cross-functional teams.
  • HEOR experience with publication history an added benefit.

PERSONAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Pragmatic solution oriented & have the right level of implementation skills/experience, ready to be hands-on with pricing and market access activities/tasks.
  • Extremely curious and willing to learn.
  • Solid business acumen with deep payer insights and grasp of complex analytics required including market planning and business intelligence with a deep understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics
  • Communication skills: Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to make complex concepts conversational; Engage in focused dialogue, and demonstrate good listening skills
  • Negotiation & influencing skills
  • Strategic thinker, able to understand the global picture internally (marketing & sales, medical, research, health economy); and externally (healthcare policy trends, P&R models, different payers stakeholders, contracting, pricing, Health Technology Assessments, etc.)
  • Experience in developing HE models, writing/reviewing dossiers based on appraisal of clinical and economic data, developing pricing business cases, creating access trackers, value communication and alternative contracting models/managed entry agreements.
  • Experience with RWE utilisation/generation is an advantage.
  • Ability to establish & maintain relationships, collaborate and influence across a multi-functional matrix organization.
  • Strong team player.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing strategic internal relationships and stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
