Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a small to medium team of immigration professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance
Serve as the in-house expert on Middle East immigration laws, policies, and procedures
Ensure all immigration strategies and activities are tailored to the specific legal, cultural, and operational nuances of the region
Ensure full compliance with immigration laws and government regulations across Middle Eastern countries
Proactively monitor regulatory changes, assess risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain business continuity and legal integrity
Develop and implement strategic immigration policies and processes for the Middle East region
Ensure compliance with local laws, government regulations, mobility standards, and internal policies
Partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Legal, and business leaders to support workforce planning and employee mobility
Evaluate and streamline immigration processes to enhance operational efficiency, reduce processing time, and improve employee experience
Track immigration metrics, generate regular reports, and provide insights to leadership
Proven experience in leading organizational readiness for regulatory changes or immigration reforms in Middle East
Provide guidance, resources, and training to business stakeholders on evolving immigration practices and requirements
Demonstrated people leadership and management skills
Strong business acumen with ability to thrive in fast-paced, high stakes and change-driven environment
Knowledgeable of industry best practices and know how to leverage these to achieve world-class results
Highly organized and able to effectively and efficiently manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field required. Master's degree or law degree (LLB/JD), or equivalent, preferred.
5+ years professional experience in a Global Mobility, Global Immigration, or HR role in a high-volume corporate immigration environment
Proven experience in immigration or global mobility management in the Middle East
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent understanding of regional immigration laws and procedures
Ability to think strategically and execute operationally
Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written)
Preferred Qualifications:
