Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Multi-Technician
to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be capable of working across multiple disciplines including
HVAC
,
electrical
,
plumbing
, and
general maintenance
, with
specific experience in servicing and troubleshooting Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) AC units
.
This field-based role requires strong technical knowledge, professionalism, and the ability to deliver exceptional service independently and under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct reactive and preventive maintenance
across multiple disciplines:
HVAC
: AC servicing, compressor and thermostat replacement, duct cleaning, and filter maintenance
Electrical
: Distribution boards, lighting systems, circuit tracing, and wiring repairs
Plumbing
: Leak repairs, pump servicing, drain clearance, and fixture installation
Handyman tasks
: Minor carpentry, gypsum board works, wall patching, and painting
Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on
VFD AC units
, including troubleshooting drive faults, adjusting control parameters, and replacing related components
Respond promptly to
emergency service calls
, ensuring minimum downtime for clients
Follow planned
Preventive Maintenance (PPM)
schedules and document all performed work accurately
Ensure all tools and materials are used and maintained responsibly
Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with clients and internal team members
Comply with all relevant
Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE)
regulations and company policies
Submit clear service reports, job completion notes, and parts usage logs
Requirements
Diploma / ITI certificate
in HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical, or a relevant trade
3-5 years' experience
in facility or MEP maintenance within the UAE or GCC
Strong technical experience with
VFD AC units
, including setup, diagnostics, and repair
Proven knowledge of
electrical systems
,
water pumps
, and
plumbing fixtures
Familiarity with
handyman and finishing work
(gypsum, painting, minor carpentry)
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and control logic
Good communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
Valid UAE driving license
preferred
Willingness to work on a flexible schedule and attend after-hours emergency calls
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of
CAFM systems
and mobile maintenance tools
Experience with
HVAC controls
, thermostats, actuators, and sensors
Customer-facing attitude and ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Commitment to continuous learning and technical improvement
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
