Maintenance Manager

Job Description
We are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager for our paper bags company
- All machinery on site to be always maintained in 100% operational and in compliant condition to ISO and BRC.
- No temporary fix to be done. All repairs should be permanent in nature.
- <1% machinery/facilities down time across the plant.
- Analyse down time data and implement permanent fix to improve machine productivity and quality
- Ensure accurate ordering, stock keeping, and ready availability of spare parts for machines and facilities equipment. No excess inventory to be stocked.
- Preventive maintenance plan to be established and execution to be done in coordination withFactory/General Manager.
- Ensure all machine installation, upgrading, commissioning projects are monitored and carried out withminimum expenditure. Provide report of each project undertaken.
- Lead internal facilities team to execute in-house service calendars for all air compressors, chillers,cooling towers and air conditioning on-site.
- Ensure power incoming and distribution is done in a safe and cost-effective way.
- Monitor monthly electricity bills and verify the reading to finance and highlight and action areas ofimprovement.
- Streamline the onsite workshop team and establish timelines for all projects on hand.
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with local safety regulations and guidelines.
- Liaise with purchasing and verify the work scope of each outsourced civil or M&E work.
- Directly manage each project undertaken for energy saving, facilities servicing improvement, machine efficiency and quality improvement or replacement either in-house or outsourced.
- Record external repair & external contracting expenditure and report evidence of reduction of same on monthly basis.
- Liaise with Safety Officer to ensure all safety procedures are implemented, and facilities are functional and always maintained & liaise with QA to ensure all procedures are documented, maintained, and always updated.
- Review the machine requirements and liaise with machine maker with effective communication for technical support and trouble shootings
