Maintenance Manager / HF_MM_Mar2023

INTRODUCTION
We are a fast-growing UAE-based company involved in the manufacturing and global distribution of premium, gourmet snacking products. We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and be responsible for the efficient running of the Machinery at the Plant, adding value by bringing in in-depth knowledge & business acumen to the department. Position: Maintenance Manager
Reporting to:Head of Operations
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Direct Reports: Tech Maintenance Supervisor Primary Objective
To plan, initiate, manage all installation of machinery, repairs and upkeep of operations with minimum disruption during shift cycles. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose breakdown problems in the plant and carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
• Maximise and efficiently run all utilities \xe2\x80\x93 costs saving and sustainability benefits.
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are improved and maintained \xe2\x80\x93 risk assessments/safety tours/contractor controls.
• Continuous improvement actions and measures to reduce costs and maximise plant capacity.
• Prepare Daily maintenance reports and analyse to minimize machine downtime.
• Monitor and record utility consumption and assist production manager to maintain efficiency.
• Daily coordination with technical team and reviewing preventive maintenance plan.
• Track equipment spares inventory, maintain sufficient inventories, and accurate records and place orders when necessary.
• Plan and oversee all machine and utility installation activities.
• Establish preventive maintenance scheduled and recording system to minimize major breakdowns and lost production time. Delivers planned maintenance and Breakdowns.
• To coordinate with the outside agencies or vendors for repair and maintenance work of machines and utility.
• Act proactively to prevent any future maintenance problems and improve line efficiency.
• Diagnose and repair machine faults. Independently overhauls and maintain machines.
• Resolves machine bottle necks problems by analysing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
• Procuring and monitoring and analysing efficiency of production equipment.
• Preparing cost estimates for equipment, and utility related equipment.

• Good understanding of Machine Commissioning and troubleshoot machine issues.

Educational requirements:

• Graduate / Diploma \xe2\x80\x93 Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Industrial engineering
• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
• Middle East experience is a benefit.
