Responsible for ensuring overall availability of machineries and equipment for production through preventive and break down maintenance in the plant. \xc2\xb7 Graduate Engineer in Mechanical/Electrical with 15-20 years of experience in maintenance in a plastic pipe manufacturing plant. \xc2\xb7 Designs maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods \xc2\xb7 Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation. \xc2\xb7 Participate in developing the annual budget for the maintenance department and develop cost-effective mechanical, electrical and instrument maintenance plan and execution. \xc2\xb7 Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations. \xc2\xb7 Responsible to provide daily support of production, work as part of team assigned to production line to troubleshoot technical problems quickly and effectively \xc2\xb7 Review the production plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement \xc2\xb7 Responsible to review the standard maintenance procedures and ensure the expected performance and life of equipment, vehicle, and plant is achieved. \xc2\xb7 Planning and managing all repair and installation activities. \xc2\xb7 Carries out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults \xc2\xb7 Diagnoses breakdown problems \xc2\xb7 Fits new parts and makes sure equipment is working correctly \xc2\xb7 Carries out quality inspections on jobs \xc2\xb7 Liaises with production department and other engineering colleagues \xc2\xb7 Arranges procurement of fixtures, fittings, or components \xc2\xb7 Controls maintenance tools, stores and equipment \xc2\xb7 Monitors and controls maintenance costs \xc2\xb7 Deals with emergencies, unplanned, problems, and repairs \xc2\xb7 Ensuring all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures. \xc2\xb7 Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs. \xc2\xb7 Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary. \xc2\xb7 Works with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), which control machinery in the plan \xc2\xb7 Writes maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines \xc2\xb7 Ensures there is continuous cover of the machinery and equipment in case of breakdowns. \xc2\xb7 Occasionally manufactures parts required for maintenance \xc2\xb7 Makes improvements in the machineries to improve productivity in consultation with production team Trains workmen on the right way of handling the machines to avoid breakdowns Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
