The Logistics Sales Executive - Road Freight is responsible for finding new customers, managing existing clients, and selling road freight services. The role focuses on meeting sales targets, growing the customer base, and coordinating with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business for road transport services
Generate leads, meet clients, and close sales
Manage and grow existing customer accounts
Prepare quotations, negotiate rates, and finalize contracts
Coordinate with operations and customer service teams for timely deliveries
Track market trends, competitors, and pricing
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Maintain sales records and prepare sales reports
Handle customer queries and ensure customer satisfaction
