Classify items with Export Control Classification Number (ECCN), country of origin, and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) number and ensuring accuracy with UAE customs requirements
work together with the logistics operators and customs to plan and track shipments, and ensure goods are cleared through customs.
ensure that customs flows, shipping documentation, and all products imported in the freezone correspond to local regulations and requirements.
Identifying and understanding implications of various shipping documentation and terminologies found within Ocean, air shipments and dangerous goods shipments.
Prepare and Monitor import/export documentation, and assure compliance relating to Incoterms and current tariffs
Manage entire logistics chain of e-commerce shipments from order receipt to final fulfilment via last mile delivery via delivery partners or self
Interact with customer logistics teams to facilitate timely outbound shipping.
Work with Inbound and outbound freight carriers and forwarders to ensure shipments are accurate and on time.
Ensure all paperwork is properly completed for shipment, including BLs, receipts, and customs forms.
Track inventory and \\assist in reconciliation of inventory issues as they arise.
Maintain and purchase as needed packing material stock.
Assist in identifying new procedures and methods to expedite the import and export of shipments and create cost savings if appropriate.
Import/ Export Customs Clearance, documents to agents for Customs clearance, Bill of Entry Clearance for import and export shipment by Land, Air and Sea.
Creation of export document, EDI Creation, container tracking, inspection booking.
Documentation, Attestation and Legalization \xe2\x80\x93 MOFAIC and any other government body
To prepare certificate of origin through online system and to arrange attestation and legalization from Chamber of Commerce and Ministries.
Any other Public Relations/ Liaison work related to Freezone authorities and customs including applying for FZ visa\xe2\x80\x99s, Local gate pass and other FZE gate passes.
Amending, Cancelling BOE based on customer requirement.
Sourcing freight rates from various shipping lines and agents for Imports and Exports from various parts of the world.
Coordinating with customer, arranging for documents collection, custom document.
Monitoring transport costs, implementing transport strategies for effective and faster delivery planning routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries.
Refund and claim / Exit document preparation, tracking claim.
Responsible for all customer records, Order, Shipment and Inventory documents to keep all records accurate and up-to date
Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system and with SAIF Zone customs inventory levels.
Inventory Management and Input and manage data in an ERP/ Stock system.
Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
Comply with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Maintain physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
Manage contracted forklift operator to load and unload trucks and move material in the warehouse.
Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees including recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; following up on work results.
