Job Description

Delivery in charge Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage Delivery Teams

• Maintain Budget
• Create Distribution Plans

• Fill Orders
• Maintain Deadlines

• Negotiate New Contracts
• Manage Customer Problems

• Maintain Inventory
• Make Deliveries
• Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labelling supplies
• Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
• Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs

Delivery in charge Requirements and Qualifications

• Leadership - supervise driver team members and exhibit excellent leadership and management skills
• Customer Service - directly address customer complaints and problems, which requires good customer service skills
• Communication - Delivery in charge have strong verbal communication skills to speak to customers and delivery team members daily as well as good written communication skills to create detailed reports
• Computer Skills - use digital systems to maintain records and track delivery driver routes, so delivery managers possess at least basic computer skills. (preferred)
• Physical Ability - This is a physically demanding position, so delivery in charge can lift weights and walk or stand for long periods at a time during their regular work day
• Multi-Tasking - Delivery managers are well-organized and good at juggling multiple tasks
• Skills to operate common office equipment

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in delivery in charge, warehouse in charge or storekeeping, or recordkeeping
• Valid driver's license- preferred

Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
