Job Overview

Ard Aljamal Cosmetics Manufacturing LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Logistics Coordinator

to manage complete logistics operations, documentation, and regulatory compliance related to the

import and export of cosmetic raw materials and finished products

.

This role requires

hands-on experience with handling Dangerous Goods (DG)

,

powdered raw materials

,

liquid and oil-based ingredients

, and coordinating

air and sea shipments

efficiently and cost-effectively. The candidate must also be familiar with

Dubai Trade customs clearance

, and

cosmetics product registration processes

with UAE and GCC regulatory authorities.

Key ResponsibilitiesImport & Export Operations

Handle end-to-end

import/export documentation

for raw materials (powder, oil, liquid, DG goods) and finished cosmetic products. Coordinate

FCL, LCL, and air cargo shipments

from multiple suppliers worldwide. Plan and execute

container consolidation

to reduce freight cost and improve delivery timelines. Prepare all necessary documents (COO, MSDS, invoices, packing lists, etc.) for DG and regulated goods. Book shipments and liaise with

freight forwarders, shipping lines, courier services

, and

air cargo agents

. Submit

declarations and clearance documents via Dubai Trade

, and ensure smooth customs processing.

Customs & Regulatory Compliance

Ensure timely

customs clearance

for all inbound and outbound shipments, resolving any issues proactively. Maintain compliance with UAE customs, DG regulations, and hazardous goods handling requirements. Manage

product registration and regulatory filing

with Dubai Municipality, ESMA, SFDA (KSA), and other authorities. Track and renew product registrations, approvals, and licenses as needed.

Cost & Efficiency Optimization

Identify and implement

cost-saving strategies

across shipping, warehousing, and clearance processes. Negotiate and compare freight and customs handling charges. Monitor logistics KPIs and prepare weekly/monthly reports for management.

Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate shipment schedules with the

procurement, production, warehouse, and finance

teams. Communicate with suppliers and internal departments on ETAs, delays, and documentation needs. Maintain up-to-date shipment logs, customs records, and regulatory files.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or equivalent.

3-6 years of experience

in logistics coordination, preferably within the

cosmetics, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing

sector. Strong knowledge of

Dubai Trade customs clearance

procedures and portal usage. Experience with

import/export of DG goods

,

powdered materials

,

essential oils

,

liquids

, and regulated chemicals. Familiarity with

MSDS documentation

, DG labelling, and compliance requirements. Experience in

product registration and regulatory submissions

with Dubai Municipality, ESMA, SFDA, etc. Proficient in

MS Excel, ERP systems (preferably Odoo)

, and logistics coordination tools. Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to multitask under pressure.
