The Listing Agent will be responsible for guiding property sellers through every stage of the sales process, from initial consultations and pricing strategies to marketing, negotiations, and closing. This role demands strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of the local real estate market.
Key Responsibilities:
Meet with potential clients to discuss their property and explain the selling process.
Conduct Comparative Market Analyses (CMAs) to determine competitive pricing strategies.
Coordinate property staging, professional photography, and listing preparation.
List properties on the MLS and other relevant platforms with compelling descriptions and accurate details.
Implement marketing plans, including online and print advertising, open houses, and social media campaigns.
Serve as the main point of contact for sellers, providing regular updates and feedback.
Negotiate offers, counteroffers, and inspection requests on behalf of the seller.
Coordinate and attend showings and open houses as needed.
Work closely with transaction coordinators, escrow agents, and other professionals to ensure a smooth closing process.
Stay up-to-date on market trends, pricing, and real estate laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a listing agent or in residential real estate sales.
Strong knowledge of local real estate market and property values.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with CRM software and MLS systems.
