Certificate:- Valid TUV Certificate
Roles:
Plan, supervise, and coordinate all lifting operations on site
Review and approve Lifting Plans, Method Statements, and Risk Assessments
Ensure lifting operations comply with international standards (e.g., LOLER, ASME, API)
Inspect and certify lifting equipment (cranes, slings, shackles, spreader bars, etc.)
Conduct toolbox talks and lifting safety briefings
Coordinate with rigging teams, crane operators, and supervisors for critical lifts
Identify and control hazards in lifting zones
Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE policies and safe lifting practices
Train and mentor riggers and lifting crew on proper procedures and techniques
Maintain accurate records of lifting gear inspections and lifting operations
Participate in incident investigations related to lifting operations
Ensure permits and load tests are in place before commencing any lift
Support audits and third-party inspections related to lifting activities
