Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Lifting Specialist to join our high-performing project team in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a key site-based role involving oversight of all lifting operations, procedures, and equipment ensuring activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Overseer of lifting operations to ensure compliance with project, regulatory, and safety requirements

2. Management lifting activities in the worksite.

3. Lifting documentation, including plans, calculations, certificates, and method statements review and approve

4. Do equipment inspections and audits, including subcontractor assets

5. Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses, and lifting incident investigations

6. Provide technical assurance on rigging, crane types, dynamic load reviews, and barge stability where applicable

Required Experience & Qualifications:

1. Possess diploma or equivalent qualification in engineering or related technical field

2. At least 5 years' experience in lifting operations, supervision, and planning in construction

3. Field -based experience in heavy lifting, crane operations, and complex lifting preparation

4. Concrete understanding of international lifting codes and standards (e.g. LOLER, API, DNV, LEEA, BS)

5. Experience with both construction oil and gas lifting equipment, including certification and maintenance standards

6. Experience in rigging calculations, lifting dynamics, and technical assessments

7. Strong communication and coordination skills across multicultural teams

8. Fluent in written and spoken English

9. LEEA Certified
