The Leasing Officer is responsible for handling all leasing activities including marketing available properties, tenant relations, lease negotiations, and maintaining high occupancy levels. The role involves ensuring client satisfaction, managing lease documentation, and achieving leasing targets in line with company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Market and promote available properties through various channels (online, brokers, signage, etc.)
Schedule and conduct property viewings with potential tenants.
Respond to leasing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Negotiate lease terms, renewals, and rental rates to ensure optimal occupancy.
Prepare and review lease agreements in coordination with legal and management.
Ensure all leasing documents and tenant records are up-to-date and accurate.
Conduct tenant screenings, background checks, and coordinate move-in procedures.
Maintain strong relationships with tenants and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in real estate leasing, property management, or a related role.
Strong knowledge of leasing laws, contracts, and tenant rights.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in MS Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, CRM).
Customer-focused with a proactive and result-oriented approach.
