Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly creative and experienced

Lead Interior Designer

to take ownership of design projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fit-out design, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage both clients and internal teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of interior design concepts, layouts, and space planning for fit-out projects. Translate client requirements into functional, aesthetic, and cost-effective design solutions. Oversee preparation of design presentations, mood boards, material selections, and 3D renderings. Supervise the production of detailed drawings, BOQs, and construction documentation. Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and site teams throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure designs comply with local authority regulations and health & safety standards. Manage and mentor junior designers, assign tasks, and ensure quality and deadlines are met. Conduct regular site visits to ensure design execution aligns with approved drawings. Stay updated on market trends, materials, finishes, and technologies in the fit-out industry.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture. Minimum 7+ years of interior design experience, specifically in

fit-out projects

. Strong portfolio with completed commercial, residential, or hospitality fit-out works. Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and rendering software (e.g., 3Ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion). Strong leadership, communication, and client handling skills. Knowledge of local authority approval processes and documentation. UAE experience preferred; a valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
