We are looking for an Assistant Finance Controller for a 6-month contract to assist the Finance Controller with managing financial reports, profitability/margin calculations, month-end reports and other financial analytics.
Your tasks
- Coordinate and assist with the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Coordinate and assist with the preparation of regulatory reporting including periodic program review audits
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Identifying solutions to discrepancies in financial records
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Work to reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 5+ years of experience in finance, financial controlling and internal controls
- Broad financial knowledge in accounting/ audit, reconciliations, month-end closing, A/R & A/P, cost control & accounting, financial statements, budget and forecasts preparation support
- Expert-level analytical and financial modelling skills
- Strategic thinking
- Excellent time management and organizational ability
- Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Expert knowledge on MS Office applications
