Key Responsibilities:
  • Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
  • Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in designated storage areas, maintaining organization and efficiency in the dishwashing and storage areas.
  • Empty trash bins and recycling containers regularly, disposing of waste properly and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, equipment, and utensils according to established sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients, as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in walk-in refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas, rotating stock and disposing of expired or spoiled items.
  • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of food and supplies, verifying quantities and quality of items received.
  • Set up and break down dining areas for meal service, including arranging tables, chairs, and table settings, and replenishing condiments and supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and dining room staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
