Job Description

Our client a well established 4 star hotel is looking for two Marketing Executives to promote their hotel.
Responsible for assisting the Marketing and Communications Manager in the organization of events and seeking related sponsorship to cover all expenses while bringing revenue to the Hotel.

General Tasks and Responsibilities: Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
\xc3\x98 Assists the Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager in maintaining and implementing an effective filing & administrative system for all matters related to sponsorship and event organization.
\xc3\x98 Identifies and maintain a general database of potential sponsors for all events and target specific ones related to each event separately.
\xc3\x98 Keen negotiating skills to handle potential sponsors and ultimately close advantageous arrangements.
\xc3\x98 Self motivator and outgoing enabling to socialize and meet with potential sponsors and clients.
\xc3\x98 Writing skills to formulate all correspondence related to the sponsorship proposals, negotiations and letters of thank s and appreciation.
\xc3\x98 Assists the Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager in handling the events with the concerned departments within the Hotel to make sure that all branding for sponsors is as agreed in contracts.
\xc3\x98 Responsible for all materials provided by the sponsors.
\xc3\x98 Assists the Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager to maintain an effective working relationship with all members of target media, electronic and print, local, national and international to encourage and maximize coverage of all events and promotions.
\xc3\x98 Hosts members of the media, strategic partners and top clients at the property\xe2\x80\x99s functions and events.
\xc3\x98 Assists the Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager in the production of all promotional material, including gathering of supporting data and collateral material.
\xc3\x98 Takes photographs of all internal functions, Banquet and Conference functions and VIP\xe2\x80\x99s in the hotel visiting.
\xc3\x98 Attends all events and promotions.
\xc3\x98 Press cuttings of the Arabic and English publications.
\xc3\x98 Submits a monthly report to the Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager updating on all matters related to the activities within the department.
\xc3\x98 Attends division and general meetings whenever required.
\xc3\x98 Undertakes such additional duties as may be required by the Managing Director, the Director of Sales & Marketing, the Assistant Marketing and Communications Manager and Corporate Marketing at any given time.

Requirements:
General Responsibilities
Should have experience in Social Media and digital marketing
\xc3\x98 To promote efficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard of social skills.
\xc3\x98 To generally promote and ensure good inter-departmental relations.
\xc3\x98 To display a pleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote a good company image to guests and colleagues.
\xc3\x98 To demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.
\xc3\x98 To adhere to Company and Hotel rules and regulations at all times.
Occasional Responsibilities
\xc3\x98 To report any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.
\xc3\x98 Pass any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
\xc3\x98 To participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by senior management.
\xc3\x98 To assist the Duty Manager in any task outlined/detailed by him/her.
\xc3\x98 To comply with any reasonable request made by management to the best of your ability.
Legal Responsibilities
\xc3\x98 To ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are maintained at all times in the areas specified above.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
\xc3\x98 Any other duties assigned by Supervisor
CONDITIONS OF WORK
\xc3\x98 As per the normal work requirements
