Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, etc.).
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including rooftop units, walk-in coolers/freezers, exhaust hoods, and ventilation systems.
Install new kitchen equipment and HVAC units according to manufacturer specifications.
Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Maintain accurate service logs, reports, and inventory records.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service calls.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
3+ years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment and/or HVAC service.
Strong mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
