dedicated kitchen equipment maintenance technician

to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of all catering and kitchen machinery within our central kitchen operations.

Position Overview

The

Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician

plays a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of Diet Cafe's production facilities. This position requires hands-on expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining professional kitchen and catering equipment, with strict adherence to safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for all catering and kitchen equipment, including ovens, chillers, fryers, mixers, steamers, and other food-processing units. Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical faults in a timely manner to prevent operational interruptions. Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and spare-part inventory. Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers for specialized repairs and parts procurement. Support the installation, testing, and commissioning of new kitchen equipment. Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety and HACCP standards. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and maintenance requests from kitchen operations.

Requirements & Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintaining and repairing

commercial kitchen or catering equipment

. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems. Diploma or technical certification in

mechanical/electrical/refrigeration engineering

or related field. Valid

Qatar Driving License

- mandatory. Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure. Good communication and record-keeping skills. Previous experience in

hospitality, catering, or food production environments

is highly preferred.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR3,000.00 per month
