We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and grow wholesale accounts across the food category. The role focuses on driving distribution, volume growth, visibility, and profitability across supermarkets, hypermarkets, groceries, and wholesale channels.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop wholesale accounts
Achieve sales, volume, and distribution targets across assigned accounts
Negotiate listings, pricing, promotions, and trade terms with retail partners
Develop joint business plans and promotional calendars with key accounts
Ensure optimal product availability, shelf placement, and in-store visibility
Monitor sell-in, sell-out, and stock levels to avoid out-of-stock or overstock situations
Coordinate with merchandising, supply chain, and marketing teams for execution
Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing movements
Manage trade marketing budgets and promotional spend effectiveness
Prepare accurate forecasts, performance reports, and account reviews
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
4-7 years of experience in FMCG sales or key account management, specifically within wholesale
Strong understanding of retail operations, promotions, and category management
Proven negotiation and relationship management skills
Analytical mindset with strong Excel and reporting skills
Ability to manage multiple retail accounts in a fast-paced environment
