Prepare and verify quantity measurements from drawings for civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works.
Assist in the development of cost plans, preliminary estimates, and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Provide support during tender processes, including document preparation, quantity pricing, and bid evaluations.
Review and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations, preparing comparison analyses and recommendations.
Track project costs by monitoring material usage, labor deployment, and site progress against approved budgets.
Support the preparation of interim payment applications, cost forecasts, variation assessments, and financial reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quantities, contracts, variations, and commercial correspondence.
Liaise with site engineers, procurement teams, and planners to ensure consistency between quantities, schedules, and costs.
Assist with final account preparation, project close-out activities, and documentation handover.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
1-2 years of experience in quantity surveying, cost control, or construction commercial roles (graduate or trainee experience acceptable).
Working knowledge of MS Excel; exposure to AutoCAD, CostX, PlanSwift, or similar take-off/estimating software is an advantage.
Basic understanding of construction measurement methods, contract administration, cost management, and tendering practices.
