Job Summary:



The Junior Quantity Surveyor will assist the commercial and project teams in managing all costs related to civil construction projects, from the initial estimates to the final accounts. The role involves supporting the preparation of bills of quantities, cost control, tendering, and valuation of work, ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements within the UAE construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:



Assist in

preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ)

based on project drawings and specifications. Support in

tender preparation, evaluation, and comparison

for subcontractor and supplier packages. Participate in

measurement and valuation of work done on-site

for interim payment applications and variations. Maintain records of all

contractual correspondence, change orders, and cost adjustments

. Assist the Senior Quantity Surveyor in

cost monitoring and forecasting project expenditure

. Conduct

site visits

to verify quantities and progress for accurate reporting. Support in

preparing and reviewing subcontractor agreements, payment certificates, and claims

. Ensure all quantity surveying activities comply with

company procedures, local regulations, and contract conditions (FIDIC, etc.)

. Coordinate with the project, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely cost information. Prepare

monthly commercial reports

and assist in project close-out documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

2-4 years of experience

in quantity surveying within the

UAE civil construction sector

(infrastructure, roads, utilities, or building projects). Basic knowledge of

FIDIC contracts

and UAE construction regulations. Proficient in

AutoCAD, MS Excel, and measurement software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar)

. Strong analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. UAE driving license (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
