POSITION: Retail Merchandiser Planer

We are looking at hiring junior merchandiser planner for our retail division to be based in Dubai

Job requirements;

A person who analyzes sales trend and forecast product availability accordingly in the stores in advance. Must be result oriented & takes full ownership for the job roll Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities Based on the plan, coordinates with factories, warehouse on product / merchandise requirements in the stores in a planned way. Identifies gaps in product availability and takes timely action. Coordinates & visits the store regularly for qualitative and quantitative feedback. Work with the stores closely to actively manage inventory levels. This includes planning backup orders, recommending orders, increasing/decreasing inventory, and/or canceling orders. On a monthly and quarterly basis, generate inventory report & action taken to mitigate the shortfall. Establish and monitor store capacity Vs inventory levels
Ideal candidate would be: (preferably female)

Must have 1-3 years of experience as a Merchandise Planner with a small or medium size retailer Strong aptitude with numbers and clear understanding of retail maths skills Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills; able to communicate both oral & written clearly and persuasively, Excels in team-environments and in building and developing strong interpersonal relationships Driving license is an advantage System knowledge specially how to operate Tally
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Excel

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
